Burnside Forge was fortunate enough to enjoy 2 wins during last year’s race season… In Coed Open Teams at the Dark Horse 40 and in Cat 2 Single Speed at Riedlebauer’s Round Top Rally.  Here’s to 2013!

.005 was a CX frame built for my buddy Mike at Dark Horse Cylces.  Disc brakes, 135mm rear spacing, and lots of tire clearance, this bike was intended for a wide mix of punishing terrain.

Two 650B mountain bikes… the black one built as a rigid single speed and the brown one went on to be built up with XX 2×10 and an 80mm fork.

My second build was this cyclocross frame for my cousin, Eric. Canti brakes, s-bend stays, big tire clearance… Eric built this one up to tackle flat out laps in a muddy park on Saturday, and 100+ miles of dirt roads on Sunday.

This is my first frame, built under the tutelage of Carl Schlemowitz at Vicious Cycles/ Metal Guru in New Paltz N.Y. in early 2012.

Using a mix of Columbus Zona and Reynolds 853, tradtional xc race geometry is complemented with Paragon sliders and a Vicious 438mm rigid fork. The custom wheels were built by Rich at Tenafly Bicycle Workshop with King hubs and Blunt SL rims.  I LOVE this bike.
